UMAC Central's Outstanding Preseason Team of the Year

Welcome to UMAC Central's Outstanding Preseason Team of the Year! Clearly, choosing the preseason team of the year comes with certain challenges, but we did our best to pick players who we think will be the best at their position at the season's end. Although a preseason team will often favor statistics and past award winners, we attempted to pick players that passed the eye test last year. For example, although Northwestern S Cody Kielsa is picked to be a preseason All-American, we felt that there were DB's that outperformed him at safety last year including some that did not make this list. Another example is Westminster DE Kyle Bryant who is another preseason All-American pick. We will be watching the UMAC closely to determine the best players throughout the year. Congratulations to the players that made this list, but don't be complacent. For those of you who did not, prove us wrong. We would love to see this list shake up a bit. In fact, we expect this list to change. So without further ado, here is the 2013 UMAC Central Outstanding Preseason Team of the Year:
