In Northwestern's game at the College of St. Scholastica last weekend, Bauman helped lead the Eagles defense in holding the Saints offense to a season-low 194 yards of total offense and only allowing 3 third-down conversions on 11 attempts. Joey contributed 6 tackles to the Eagles game-winning effort and had 2 key interceptions to end two of the Saints longest offensive drives. The second interception came with just under 3 minutes left and allowed Northwestern to run out the clock and hold onto a 14-13 victory. Bauman's 2 interceptions give him a season total of 3 and tie him for the UMAC lead.
